“As you create a home, don't get distracted with a lot of things that have no meaning for you or your family.
Don't dwell on your failures, but think of your successes. Have joy in your home. Have joy in your children.
Have joy in your husband. Be grateful for the journey.”

The People We Saw

This is my final blog post about our trip. I couldn't leave out pictures of all the people we visited while traveling!

First off - The Sweet Sweed, aka, Philip Swenson. This is one of Brandon's mission buddies.. He and his family live in California, (20 minutes from Megan) so we stopped and joined them for dinner at Chipotle. YUMM. The last time they saw each other was in 2009 during the World Ag Show. His wife is so super nice! And look at his daughter, precious! She turned 1 two days after this picture.

Second was my bestest good friend from school, Garet!! We met him for breakfast the morning we were leaving California. He lives about 20 minutes from Megan too . He must hit the gym often because he's buff!Crazy guy - he bought all of our food! We were planning on buying his breakfast, but he beat us to the bill! It was great to see him again!

Third was Brandon's cousin, Valerie. She lives about an hour from Megan. (on the road home) So, after we had breakfast with Garet, we had ice cream with her and her kids.
She too, got the check before us and paid the bill. People are too nice!

Finally, we met up with three more of Brandon's mission buddies in Salt Lake. Dallas Sproul, Riza Villaplaza (they got married), and Rick Guymon. We ate at Texas Roadhouse - DOUBLE YUMM!
Rick's wife and daughter joined us too. Both couples are expecting babies! How exciting is that!?!?

Most importantly, MEGAN & JOHNNY!!We really LOVED our vacation! We were spoiled rotten by everyone, and can't wait to go back!
